Dalaguete, Cebu - Recently I've posted the worst part of my adventure when I traveled for the first time to south of Cebu. That post about Dalaguete Beach Park is discouraging but that doesn't mean the whole town of Dalaguete is the same. Now I'm going to share another gift of nature . 

Located at Brgy. Obong of Dalaguete where the Spring takes its name. Nothing could fascinate me by its clear, cold and fresh water under a very huge Dakit Tree. It's very enchangting. The scenery is perfect for fantasy. Other thing that mystifies me is the fresh water spring is directly connected to the ocean and they don't collide. Amazing isn't it? Science behind this mystery is because both waters have different density. 

So how to get there? From the Queen City of the South - Cebu, you can ride a bus from South Bus Terminal and you can just ask the driver to drop you in Brgy. Obong. From there, you can just ask some locals for directions. No worries they are friendly! 

When you reach the entrance, you have to pay P5 for the entrance fee per person. If you have a car, that's an additional P20. You can rent a table under the huge tree for only P100.

Take a selfie with their mermaid statue. Grab some Banana Cues also from the local vendors! Enjoy!
